Waste disposal

Daily activity in the Port generates a wide variety of waste, most of which comes from indirect activities such as industrial boat maintenance, commercial premises, restaurants, moorings, …

The premises of the Port have to manage the waste generated by their activity in accordance with current regulations.

To facilitate the correct management of waste, Port Ginesta makes available to users different points and types of general and selective collection containers distributed throughout the port area.

The waste must be deposited correctly segregated in the different containers of the port in order to make the most of it.

For the deposit of special waste, the port has 2 “punt net”, located in the dry dock and in the industrial zone, for its subsequent collection and management by authorized carriers and managers.

Non-hazardous bulky plastic, paper-cardboard, wood and pruning waste must be managed correctly by all users. The Port offers an individualized fee service, upon request, for its collection at our waste center for subsequent transfer and management.

Port Ginesta has a fixed ecological absorption station on the fuel dock and a portable one for the collection of hydrocarbon or bilge water and the collection of wastewater from the ships’ sanitary tanks, thus preventing water contamination from sea.

Moorings
60.000 m2 of moorings between 8 and 30 meters, of which 6,000 m2 are specifically for catamarans. (consult for higher lengths).
