PRIVILEGED NATURAL ENVIRONMENT<\/h3>\n

[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.16″ _module_preset=”default” text_text_color=”#000000″ global_colors_info=”{}”]Port Ginesta is at the foot of the\u00a0Garraf Natural Park\u00a0, which includes the regions of Garraf, and in the southwestern sector of the so-called Catalan Coastal Range.<\/p>\n

It borders the lower valley of the Llobregat river, the Mediterranean Sea and the Pened\u00e8s depression. It occupies an\u00a0area of \u200b\u200b12,820 hectares\u00a0.<\/p>\n

It is a predominantly rocky landscape, of lunar aspect, with numerous deep underground caves and caverns formed by the action of water on limestone. These geological features also occur as a result of rivers within the mountains exiting as\u00a0natural freshwater springs\u00a0at the base of the mountain, exactly where\u00a0Port Ginesta\u00a0is.<\/p>\n

Within the\u00a0port facilities\u00a0is the beautiful beach\u00a0Cala Ginesta, a beach at the base of the Garraf Natural Park with public access across the harbor via a beautiful road and dune landscape designed by architect\u00a0Bet Figueras\u00a0, who also designed, among many other creative projects\u00a0Barcelona’s Botanical Garden[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”1_3″ _builder_version=”4.16″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.16″ _module_preset=”default” link_font=”Poppins||||||||” link_text_color=”#232323″ ul_font=”Poppins||||||||” link_option_url_new_window=”on” locked=”off” global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n
